Your time has come to quietly trust
“I am humbled and quieted in your presence. Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap. I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you. O people of God, your time has come to quietly trust, waiting upon the Lord now and forever.” Psalm 133:2-3
I want to be a contented child; quietly trusting, patiently waiting, and confidently resting in the LORD’s provision, and providence. But, I am a restless child; anxious and demanding. I want clear answers and actionable solutions. My mind is abuzz with what if’s and how to’s. BUT FOR NOW…In this moment…I will be humble and quiet in the LORD’s presence. I will be content. I will trust. I will wait…
